Learn to combine breathing, flowing postures and meditation in this gentle, but deep approach to yoga. The slower pace of this class allows time to explore the postures while cultivating strength, flexibility, balance, and calm. Yoga poses are linked to breath to help reveal body awareness, inner strength and easeful opening. End class with an extended savasana to offer the utmost relaxation. The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age). Participants who successfully complete both the online and classroom skills requirements for this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years. The in-person skills portion of the course will review material from the online course and put into practice the CPR/First Aid/ AED procedures, participants must show that they have gained the skills necessary to become certified.

Materials will be distributed during your class session or will be made available for pickup during business hours.

Learn step by step how to set a cake, learn about the tools we will use, use buttercream and/or fondant to cover your cake and learn the techniques for decorating the design of your choice! A minimum of (8) participants is required for a private event. This event is an excellent choice for adults and children 8+. Due to the nature of this activity, if you have food allergies, please confirm with us in advance whether we are able to accommodate. All of our products are nut free. Explore variations of Sun Salutations and asanas (postures) in a steady and happy flow with a strong focus on healthy alignment for all bodies. These classes are sequenced in a way to help increase flexibility, strengthen and tone muscles, and allow you to tune into your body’s own rhythm. This class offers traditional designs and techniques perfect for fall! This class is excellent for those that have completed the beginner/intermediate cake decorating class or just starting! Each session will deliver cake decorating elements, including setting and frosting your cake, using piping tools, using a variety of tips to create buttercream flowers and decorations, working with fondant, and using other materials to create some amazing cakes! Participants will learn to use fondant to cover and accessorize their cakes, a pallet knife cake, and design flowers using various techniques. Participants can create an edible masterpiece each week using fondant and/or buttercream frosting. All decorating materials, including the cake, frosting, and fondant, will be provided during each lesson. Participants will take home their creations after each session. *Participants must bring their beginner cake decorating kit to each class. If you do not have a kit from the beginner class, the kit can be purchased at checkout for an additional $30 and includes 60+pcs. that will be used throughout the course and yours to keep at the conclusion. If you choose to purchase or bring your kit, please be sure to have the following items: flat scraper, spatula, cake knife or leveler, turntable, 50 piping bags, a set of piping tips which include rose, leaf, star, etc., flower nail, and a flower lifter. Course will be taught by a professional cake decorator. Additional sessions will be made available to continue learning advanced techniques in cake decorating as well as the use of various elements to enhance your masterpiece. For this party, each person will use raw clay to shape their creations with step by step instructions, once assembled they will add texture, elements, or accessories and finally they will glaze their pieces! Each clay piece will stay at ConnectEd & Inspired to be kiln-fired and ready for pickup in approximately two weeks! These are memory keepsakes that can last a lifetime! Some creations are: snakes, llamas, gnomes, foxes, Santa, snowmen, Christmas trees, pandas, pigs, cows, bunnies, mittens, turkeys, ornaments, puppy/dog (varies by breed), pumpkins, anime pieces, cactus garden, and many more! We may also be able to customize a design for you!
