✨🌀 Youth & Teen Pottery Wheel Workshop (4-Day Series) 🏺🎨 Have you always wanted to learn how to throw pottery on the wheel? Now is your chance! Join us for a 4-day Pottery Wheel Workshop designed especially for youth and teens ages 8–17, where students will learn the exciting art of wheel throwing in a fun, supportive, and creative environment. 📅 August 3–6 🕐 Monday–Thursday | 1:00–3:00 PM 📍 ConnectEd & Inspired Art & Creativity Studio Whether you're sitting at the wheel for the very first time or already have some experience, this workshop is designed to help every participant grow their skills. Our instructor provides personalized guidance based on each student's experience level and learning style, making this a wonderful class for both beginner and intermediate potters. During this 4-day workshop, students will: 🏺 Learn the art of centering clay on the wheel 🏺 Practice pulling walls and shaping functional pottery 🏺 Learn trimming and finishing techniques 🏺 Explore ways to modify and personalize their creations 🏺 Create multiple pottery pieces throughout the week 🏺 Build confidence while developing new artistic skills After the workshop concludes, your pottery will be professionally bisque fired. Approximately three weeks later, participants will be invited back during any of our Open Studio hours to glaze their creations using our wide selection of: 🎨 Underglazes ✨ Specialty overglazes 🖌️ Decorative glazing techniques 🌈 Creative finishing options Once glaze firing is complete, every masterpiece is yours to take home and enjoy! Space is intentionally limited to provide plenty of individual instruction and wheel time, so early registration is encouraged.
