Pottery Wheel Experience

Service Description

Great experience for those who have never thrown on a pottery wheel before and those with some experience! Join us at the wheel as our instructors take you step-by-step through each part of the process as you create your vessel(s). During the two-hour session, you will learn the basics of centering and throwing, practice making your vessels, and choosing 1-2 to keep. Once complete, we will trim and kiln fire each of your pieces. The pieces will be ready for glazing two weeks after your session- you are welcome to visit during any of our open studio times to glaze your pieces using our underglaze and overglaze options. We will provide a memory photo of your experience with us! This session also makes a great friends outing, date night experience, or solo getaway! Should you enjoy the session and wish to participate in additional pottery wheel classes, a new class with 8-10 sessions begins each season! This class is designed for teens and adults; additional sessions will be made available for younger children and their caregivers. There must be at least two people to run the experience - if the minimum is not met, we will contact you at least three days prior to the event to reschedule. In the case of inclement weather, we will contact you to reschedule.

Cancellation Policy

The summer program does not allow for cancellations, although you may transfer or reschedule your ticket up to one day prior to the start of the session. All other classes, workshops, or bookings require (7) days notice for a refund and 48 hours notice for a credit.
