Service Description
This Friday afternoon club is designed for kids who love Pokémon and want a fun place to be creative, learn more about the Trading Card Game, and connect with other fans. Each week combines a hands-on Pokémon-inspired art activity with guided TCG learning and gameplay. Throughout the 8-week session, participants will create a collection of their own customized Pokémon-inspired accessories and projects, including a Trainer ID Badge, personalized deck box, decorated card-storage binder, coin-toss keychain, custom gameplay mat, and damage and status tokens. Participants will spend two weeks designing and completing their gameplay mats so they can create their own unique battle arena to use during club play. Alongside the art activities, players will build their knowledge of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. We’ll explore deck building, card organization, trading etiquette, battle setup, coin-flip mechanics, damage tracking, strategy, and full-game play. Participants will have plenty of opportunities to practice their skills, battle other club members, and learn from one another. The club is designed for a variety of experience levels. Newer players can build confidence with the basics, while more experienced Trainers can continue developing their decks and strategy. Our focus is on creativity, problem-solving, sportsmanship, friendship, and fun. During our final week, we’ll put the crafts aside and dedicate the session to a Pokémon League-style celebration featuring extended gameplay, friendly tournament rounds, trading time, and recognition of each participant’s progress.
