Main Street, Milford, MA 01757 Calling all nature lovers, bird watchers, and fairy garden designers! 🌸✨ This week is all about creativity inspired by the outdoors. Campers will design, build, sculpt, and decorate beautiful garden-themed projects while learning about eco-friendly crafting and natural materials. It’s hands-on, imaginative fun with a sprinkle of woodland magic! 🧚‍♀️🍃 🗓 Weekly Creative Line-Up: 🐦 Monday – Wooden Birdhouse & Recycled Feeder Campers will decorate a wooden birdhouse using paints and creative details. Then we’ll design a bird feeder using recycled materials, learning how art and sustainability can work together! 🌱 Tuesday – DIY Garden Stakes & Clay Succulent Holder Create custom garden stakes to brighten any flower bed or plant pot and also sculpt a clay succulent plant holder and learn carving techniques to add texture and design. (Clay projects will be kiln-fired and available for pickup within three weeks.) 🧚 Wednesday – Eco-Friendly Gnome & Fairy Garden Design and build a miniature fairy or gnome garden using natural and recycled elements. Campers will craft their own magical garden scene to take home! 🧩 Thursday – Mosaic Garden Decoration Using colorful tiles and creative patterns, campers will design a mosaic garden decoration perfect for adding sparkle to outdoor spaces. A beautiful, lasting piece to finish the week! ☀️ About Our Summer Program ☀️ Our summer programming provides youth ages 5–12 (Teen Programs available for ages 10–17) the opportunity to explore the Arts & Sciences in a safe, upbeat, and air-conditioned environment! ❄️🎨🔬 ✨ This year is ALL-NEW! We are offering dozens of brand-new projects and activities we have never offered before! 👩‍🎨 This is a drop-off program for children 5+. Step-by-step instruction ensures children learn to complete projects independently while building confidence and creativity! 🥨 Please send your child with a snack and water bottle (we have a refill station!). 📝 Once per week at drop-off, parents/guardians complete an emergency contact form. Choose a theme or let us provide an assortment of pieces for your guests to choose from! Learn about the process of kiln firing, how to glaze ceramics, and experience first hand how it's done! Pieces will remain at ConnectEd & Inspired to be kiln fired and will be ready for pickup in approximately two weeks following the event. Some of our most recent parties have included: unicorns and dragons, Harry Potter castles, dinner plates decorated by each creator, horses, gnomes, camper / outdoor adventure theme, and snowmen! Join us for a 4-day Pottery Wheel Workshop designed especially for youth and teens ages 8–17, where students will learn the exciting art of wheel throwing in a fun, supportive, and creative environment. 📅 August 3–6 🕐 Monday–Thursday | 1:00–3:00 PM 📍 ConnectEd & Inspired Art & Creativity Studio Whether you're sitting at the wheel for the very first time or already have some experience, this workshop is designed to help every participant grow their skills. Our instructor provides personalized guidance based on each student's experience level and learning style, making this a wonderful class for both beginner and intermediate potters. At ConnectEd & Inspired, our Stop Animation Workshop is a hands-on, creativity-packed experience where campers turn imagination into movies. Using LEGO® bricks, Play-Doh® modeling compound, and other creative materials, students will explore the art and science behind stop motion animation. This party is great for the imagination as children transform into veterinarians, agility trainers, and groomers as they travel through each station with their furry friends. Each guest will also create a house for their pet (to take home)and will end the party with a photo shoot and a dance party! Our recipes are nut-free, however, the items we use to accessorize sometimes come from factories that also produce nut products. Friday Sessions 8-9AM Breathe in a new day with this dynamic and fluid Vinyasa based class. This class will wake you up with a powerful sequence using your breath to link physical yoga postures. Explore variations of Sun Salutations and asanas (postures) in a steady and happy flow with a strong focus on healthy alignment for all bodies. These classes are sequenced in a way to help increase flexibility, strengthen and tone muscles, and allow you to tune into your body’s own rhythm.
