Our goal is to provide a safe yet fun and upbeat summer session that reinforces and expands each attendee's knowledge and experiences! -We have an “all-new” summer program this year with dozens of new projects and activities that we have not offered to the public before! - This is a drop-off event for children 5+; children are provided with step-by-step instruction and assistance so they learn how to complete each part of the project with independence - Children are encouraged to bring a snack and water bottle; a water bottle refill station is available. - Our summer program will be held indoors in an air-conditioned space! Once per week, at drop-off, we ask that parents/guardians complete a drop-off form with emergency contact information. This form will be available on our website in FAQs for printing in advance if you wish. - Once a session is reserved, we cannot issue a refund. However, we are happy to help you identify any additional openings available for another date, transfer the registration to another child, or place you on a waitlist. - Week-long sessions are offered at a discounted rate of $140/week (a savings of $20 over daily rates). Each week includes projects involving a variety of mediums (clay, wood, cardboard, mosaics, watercolors, acrylic paints, ceramics, craft items, and much more)! During each of the days, participants will explore all new activities, build, create, imagine, plan and develop solutions to challenges as well as enjoy some free building time. They will create Lego games, LEGO water play, eruptions, shadow towers, create video game scenes, solve various challenges, and much more! In addition, children will have an opportunity to paint a keepsake box to store their pieces. Adults will have the option of adding essential oils to any lava beads added to their pieces, identify oils that serve a variety of purposes and apply those that are most meaningful. To provide youth planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly care for children and infants. This training will help participants develop leadership skills, learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave, and learn about primary child care and basic first aid. The recommended age for this course is 11-15 years old. The course includes opportunities to make and take developmentally appropriate activities, emergency forms, and application of scenario-based problem-solving skills. Course now includes certification in pediatric first aid and CPR for two years. This course runs for (3) consecutive summer dates, July 28th-30th from 1-3:30. We will reschedule if there are any unexpected weather cancellations. This course is offered through the American Red Cross and includes access to print and online resources. Attendance at all three sessions and successful completion of the CPR/First Aid skills test requirement is required for certification. This course will be held in our Milford location at 138 S. Join us for a homeschool art class every Wednesday from 12-1:30! Parents are welcome to drop off or utilize our wifi and hang-out in the studio! This group is open to youth ages 5-14 and includes a wide variety of art projects that focus on building skills using an assortment of materials (ex. wood, clay, canvas, mosaics, glass, etc.). Particpants will learn about popular artists and become familiar with and practice the techniques that made them so memorable!
