Main Street, Milford, MA 01757 Calling all nature lovers, bird watchers, and fairy garden designers! 🌸✨ This week is all about creativity inspired by the outdoors. Campers will design, build, sculpt, and decorate beautiful garden-themed projects while learning about eco-friendly crafting and natural materials. It’s hands-on, imaginative fun with a sprinkle of woodland magic! 🧚‍♀️🍃 🗓 Weekly Creative Line-Up: 🐦 Monday – Wooden Birdhouse & Recycled Feeder Campers will decorate a wooden birdhouse using paints and creative details. Then we’ll design a bird feeder using recycled materials, learning how art and sustainability can work together! 🌱 Tuesday – DIY Garden Stakes & Clay Succulent Holder Create custom garden stakes to brighten any flower bed or plant pot and also sculpt a clay succulent plant holder and learn carving techniques to add texture and design. (Clay projects will be kiln-fired and available for pickup within three weeks.) 🧚 Wednesday – Eco-Friendly Gnome & Fairy Garden Design and build a miniature fairy or gnome garden using natural and recycled elements. Campers will craft their own magical garden scene to take home! 🧩 Thursday – Mosaic Garden Decoration Using colorful tiles and creative patterns, campers will design a mosaic garden decoration perfect for adding sparkle to outdoor spaces. A beautiful, lasting piece to finish the week! ☀️ About Our Summer Program ☀️ Our summer programming provides youth ages 5–12 (Teen Programs available for ages 10–17) the opportunity to explore the Arts & Sciences in a safe, upbeat, and air-conditioned environment! ❄️🎨🔬 ✨ This year is ALL-NEW! We are offering dozens of brand-new projects and activities we have never offered before! 👩‍🎨 This is a drop-off program for children 5+. Step-by-step instruction ensures children learn to complete projects independently while building confidence and creativity! 🥨 Please send your child with a snack and water bottle (we have a refill station!). 📝 Once per week at drop-off, parents/guardians complete an emergency contact form. Our experienced instructors will guide you step-by-step as you learn to center clay, throw on the wheel, shape your pottery, and explore the techniques that make each piece uniquely yours. With personalized instruction and plenty of hands-on wheel time, this class is perfect for both beginners and returning potters. You'll practice creating several pieces before choosing 1–2 favorites to keep. We'll professionally trim and kiln-fire your creations, then invite you back approximately two weeks later during any Open Studio hours to glaze your pottery using our large selection of colorful underglazes, specialty overglazes, and decorative finishing techniques. Once glaze fired, your handmade pottery is yours to treasure for years to come! Book a fun and engaging paint party with us at ConnectEd & Inspired! Slime parties are a great way to engage groups of kids! Step by step, we create three different kinds of slime using different colors, mix-ins, and scents! Each slime is packaged in a container and then a gift bag to take home after the event! Make a mess at our place and leave the cleanup to us! Standard Slime Party Package is $350: - Up to (10) guests; a fee of $30/person beyond (10) with a maximum of (24) guests per party - Two-hour party which includes 1 ½ hours of party fun and ½ hour for refreshments, cake, etc. provided by the party host. -All parties include the art supplies you need for your project, an instructor, napkins, paper plates, paper cups, and party tablecloths. -Water and lemonade will be provided for the event. The studio will not provide any additional food or drink. Please feel free to bring cake, pizza, etc. Party host can arrive 15 minutes before the party to decorate and set-up food. We provide a table/space for you to set up. -Hot Cocoa Bar may be added to the standard party package for $5 per person. -We ask that you please confirm the number of participants with us (7) days before the event. -Children’s parties can be drop-off events for guests ages 5+. Whether you're starting your decorating journey or continuing after completing a beginner/intermediate class, this course is perfect for anyone looking to expand their skills. 🌟 What to Expect: Learn Essential Techniques: Master the art of setting and frosting your cake, using piping tools and tips, creating buttercream flowers, and working with fondant. The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age). Participants who successfully complete both the online and classroom skills requirements for this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years. The in-person skills portion of the course will review material from the online course and put into practice the CPR/First Aid/ AED procedures, participants must show that they have gained the skills necessary to become certified.
