Babysitter Certification Course with Pediatric CPR/First Aid

To provide youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. The recommended age for this course is 11-15 years old.  

Course includes opportunities to make and take developmentally appropriate activities, emergency forms, and application of scenario based problem solving skills. Course now includes certification in pediatric first aid and CPR for two years.  

This course runs for 3-weeks in (2 1/2) hour sessions.  This course is offered through the American Red Cross and includes access to print and online resources. Attendance at all three sessions is required for certification.
